LRC's Collection

Print collection:- The library has a total collection of about 3200+ printed volumes including books, text books, and bound volumes of journals. Books are organized in book cases.

General Collection:- This is the largest collection of books in the library. Books for professional reading, research, Novel, Drama, Stories and supplementary texts are kept in this collection.

Reference Collection:- While most books are available for loan, books in General Reference section and text reference can only be consulted within the library.

Textbook Collection:- Textbooks for different Semesters are kept in a separate collection. These are issued to students for the period of 7 days.

Special Collection of Competitive examinations: LRC has a separate collection of various state and center government competitive examinations books.

Dictionaries, Encyclopedia & Thesaurus: LRC has collection of dictionaries, encyclopedia and thesaurus in reference book section in the library.

Maps: LRC has a collection of 11+ Maps

CDs: LRC has a collection of 11+ Cds of various subjects and topics.

Theses: LRC has the collection of faculty's Ph.D. theses submitted by them to various universities for the award of theirs Ph.D. Theses can be access for the reference only and not for home issue.

Journals and Magazines:- The LRC has total subscription 21+ Journals with professional and research orientation are subscribed by the LRC. General magazines are also subscribed by the LRC. LRC subscribes to several daily newspapers (English, Hindi and Marathi).

Questions Papers:- Questions papers of past years are available at the help desk for reference and e-copy are also available at LRC Website.

Non-print collection (Electronic Resources):- College has access to a large number of online electronic resources, such as bibliographic databases and electronic journals. These are available through N-List. Library is member of N-LIST programme of INFLIBNET to provide off site access to various e-journals and e-books etc.
